Spry has invested in our Cisco Powered network to guarantee fully redundant, fault-tolerant access for all of our customers. By using n+1 Cisco hardware and balancing our connections across several providers using BGP4, Spry's network automatically overcomes network connectivity issues that often plague smaller hosting providers.

Bandwidth is priced using the 95th percentile method. Average data transfer rates are constantly recorded every 5 minutes, as an average of that particular 5-minute period. At the end of the billing cycle, all 5-minute averages are compiled into a data set. The 95th percentile is the smallest number in the top 5% of the data set. This statistic is a fair measure of bandwidth usage, since our customers have full access to a high-speed 100 megabit connection, but only pay for the bandwidth that they actually use.
